WHY APPLY?

A rare opportunity to exhibit in a highly experimental, artist-run space in downtown New York. Loy Luo Space continues the spirit of the historic Paris Salon: a self-organized, collaborative platform where artists share visibility and opportunity.
No institutional pressure here. No background requirement

Only the strength and authenticity of the work itself.

Exhibition Theme ENDGAME

When the game appears lost, what move still remains?
Life is never a single ending but a series of possible endings —
tragic, comic, chaotic, or unexpectedly hopeful.
The meaning of an endgame is never fixed; it shifts with the attitude one brings to it.

This exhibition explores struggle, turning points, collapse and regeneration
or humor, enthusiasm, optimism, courage, and the many ways a person confronts or rewrites their own endgame.

About Loy Luo Space

Loy Luo Space is an artist-run experimental platform in the heart of Tribeca, New York.
Located on a prominent corner where Walker Street meets Lafayette Street, its two floor-to-ceiling glass walls turn every exhibition into a transparent theater visible from both streets — offering exceptional visibility and natural foot traffic.

Over the past four years, the space has presented 60+ exhibitions and programs with nearly 200 interdisciplinary artists across painting, sculpture, performance, music, writing, philosophy, and design.

As an artist-run space, it operates free from institutional pressure or background requirements.
We value the inner force of the work itself — not pedigree, endorsement, or hierarchy — and support artists who seek to explore, question, experiment, and speak from truth.

Loy Luo Space continues to grow as a home for contemporary art, philosophical inquiry, and the many ways artists rewrite what is possible.
